Personalised Therapy for Speech and Language

At LadderstoLearning we tailor assessment and therapy to suit each client's individual requirements, promoting effective communication and language development. We focus on building confidence and clarity through engaging activities and practical strategies, ensuring our clients can express themselves confidently in everyday situations.

Children & Teen Services

We offer a range of speech therapy services for children & teens, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment for various speech disorders, language disorders and communication difficulties. We also provide early intervention services for infants and toddlers.

Early intervention is key to supporting children with speech, language and communication delays. We support children at the start of their journey before and through the diagnosis stage as well as children who do not need or have a diagnosis. Sometimes children can be identified as 'late talkers' or just in need of some support to develop specific skills before starting school.

We provide families support through all stages of the speech pathology journey.

We conduct thorough assessments to identify needs promptly and implement targeted strategies to address the needs of each child and their family. Early support can lead to positive outcomes sooner.

Adult Services

Adults come to speech pathology for support with communication, thinking skills and safe eating. Therapy can help with speech clarity, language, voice, stuttering, social communication and cognitive‑communication skills such as memory, organisation and problem‑solving.

Many adults also seek support after diagnosis of ASD and ADHD, stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, or for AAC and alternative communication options. Speech pathologists also assess and manage swallowing and mealtime safety, offering practical strategies that make daily life safer and more comfortable.

We don’t just provide assessment and therapy; we partner with you. We take the time to understand what’s important to you and design support that builds on your strengths, confidence and potential.

Flexible Service Delivery Options

Recognising the importance of convenience, LadderstoLearning offers therapy sessions both in a mobile capacity, locally (Sutherland Shire, St George, Liverpool LGAs) and online via telehealth (Australia wide).

These options help us integrate therapy into our clients' daily lives, making it easier to generalise skills and maintain progress across different environments. Our flexible approach ensures the best support. We combine innovation, compassion and leading technology to deliver therapy that feels meaningful — not just clinical.

Support Services

Parenting/Caregiver Support:

Families and caregivers play a central role in helping communication skills grow. Alongside assessment and individual therapy, LadderstoLearning offers parent and carer training and support sessions that build confidence, deepens understanding and provides practical strategies that can be used at home, in the community and across daily routines. These sessions are warm, collaborative and tailored to each client's strengths, needs and learning style.

We offer individualised, strengths‑based mentoring sessions and programs for universities, allied health students, new graduate speech pathologists and experienced clinicians that reflect our core values: connection, clarity, creativity and evidence‑based practice.
