Online & Telehealth
Telehealth is the delivery of Speech Pathology services through video conferencing. This means the Speech Pathologist and client are in two different locations. This form of service allows access to people who might live too far away from a Speech Pathology service and can save travel time for people with a busy schedule. Further, it offers easy access to services for clients who are less mobile.
If you would prefer an on-line service we can provide live video sessions from the comfort of your own home using your smartphone, tablet or computer. We currently use Zoom to conduct these sessions.
To arrange an online consultation simply follow the steps below:
- Contact us to arrange an appointment.
- Download the Zoom App if using a tablet or smartphone. If using a computer visit https://zoom.us/download to download the Application.
- Prior to the appointment – we’ll forward you an email which will include a website link or a Meeting ID and password.
- Ensure you are ready at your device and all is in working order at least 10 minutes prior to your consultation time.
- Click the link OR Open the Zoom app, select “Join meeting” and enter the meeting ID provided in the email.
